Adding the Camp Nou Museum Audio Guide
The audio guide to visit Nou Camp, available in English, is not included in the standard ticket and must be added during the booking.
It costs €6.00 and I recommend it only to those who are truly interested in curiosities about Barça.
You can request earphones or bring your own headphones.
The duration of the audio guide is about 1 hour and is concentrated in the museum part, so if you are accompanied by someone who has little patience, perhaps it is not for you.

Camp Nou Visiting Hours
You can still visit Camp Nou via the museum!
That said, during the normal season the FC Barça stadium tour opening hours and accessibility vary depending on scheduled matches (more info below).
Once you’ve entered there is no time limit on your Camp Nou visit, as long as it’s within the opening hours.
Last entry is 90 minutes before closing time.
Entrances times are staggered every 30 minutes (9:30, 10:00, 10:30 etc.).

The stadium portion of the Camp Nou tour is closed to visitors the day of La Liga matches.
For Champion’s League matches the Barça stadium is closed both the day before and day of the match.
In both cases only the museum and the stadium panorama (until 6 pm) remain open.
Camp Nou Renovation Updates
As of February 12, 2025, the renovation of FC Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou has achieved several key milestones:
- June 1, 2023: Major renovation work commenced on the Spotify Camp Nou.
- May 28, 2023: FC Barcelona played their final home match at the Camp Nou before renovations, marking the end of an era for the iconic Barcelona stadium.
- June 2023: The club temporarily relocated to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys for home games during the renovation period.
- July 2023: Demolition of the third tier was completed, making way for the construction of a new tier to increase stadium capacity.
- October 2024: The club announced a delay in returning to the Spotify Camp Nou, with the revised timeline set for the 2025/26 season due to unforeseen construction delays.
- November 2024: FC Barcelona confirmed that the team would continue playing at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys until at least February 2025, adhering to UEFA regulations and logistical considerations.
- January 2025: Significant progress was made in reconstructing the first and second tiers, with plans to reopen the stadium at a reduced capacity of 64,000 seats by mid-2025.
- February 2025: The club reported that 60% of the 9,400 VIP seats had been sold, generating substantial revenue to support the ongoing renovation efforts.
- March 2025: Delays have pushed the re-open date to the 26/27 season, even if the seats were properly installed. They are currently working on the electrical.
In all, the Camp Nou renovation project remains on track (after some delays) for full completion by August 2026, aiming to enhance the stadium’s capacity to 104,000 seats and introduce state-of-the-art facilities.

How to Use your Match Tickets
If you’ve bought your Barcelona match tickets using the link above make sure you arrive at Camp Nou about 30-45 minutes in advance – or get there really early for some romantic time between you and the field before crowds arrive.

Camp Nou Stadium Tour History
By the late 1940’s rising football power FC Barcelona had outgrown the Camp de Les Corts and needed a new Barcelona stadium to house all the new fans generated by star striker Ladislao Kubala.
Cue the aptly named Camp Nou (‘New Camp’).
The city broke ground on this UEFA five star stadium on March 28th, 1954.
When the last brick was laid Camp Nou had a capacity of 99,354. The ground was set for some of the greatest teams in football history to frustrate opponents – like hated rivals Real Madrid.
Long before any tours of Camp Nou, the stadium hosted the Olympics, World Cup (with 120,000 spectators including added standing tickets), the Champions League Final, and even the Pope.
A €600 million Camp Nou renovation project is currently underway – but the games go on! Trips to Camp Nou can still be had, even if the visits are limited to the museum.

Is the Camp Nou Tour Worth It? My Experience
Visiting the Camp Nou Experience was a dream come true for this football fan, even if I grew up cheering for the Vancouver 86ers (wait, wat?) and Juventus!
What was great is that it’s just a quick 15 minute metro ride from almost anywhere in the centre, unlike in some other big cities like London or Paris.
Even during construction, users are still raving about it:
The Immersive Tour & Museum was obviously a highlight: interactive displays, iconic trophies, and behind-the-scenes footage truly brought Barça’s legendary moments to life.
One of the best parts? The 360° digital experience, which made me feel like I was on the pitch alongside the greats.
More on this later, but taking shots on the Robokeeper was also tons of fun even if I couldn’t beat it – heck, it stopped Messi too so who am I to complain?
If I had to nitpick, the absence of a full Barca stadium tour (due to renovations) was a bit of a letdown.
You don’t get to sit in the stands or step onto the field like before. Still, the experience is fantastic and well worth it, especially considering it’s cheaper during renovations.

March 24, 2019 at 12:14 pmTeam MemberAshHi Bob, If you're grabbing the metro (green line to Liceu for example) it can get quite crowded and tack on an extra 20-30 minutes to your journey just getting into the station. That said, the game should be done around 6/615 so you'll have plenty of time... If you're really paranoid you could leave 10-15 minutes early to beat the metro crowd (as Barcelona will no doubt be beating Espanyol to the point the game is a foregone conclusion) or even take a taxi which would shave off 30 minutes or more. That said, I don't think it will be necessary in this case. Ash

Other than this it's looking like you'll have to go to some of the more expensive resellers like Stubhub or Viagogo. They are both reliable but definitely out to make money on you! If you're going in February I would check back in November to book your tour. You can of course just book the much more flexible open ticket at any point, even now. That way you won't have to worry about any last minute changes affecting the tour. That said, good job on planning all this so much in advance! It's not my style and I am certainly jealous of your enthusiasm and work ethic ;) Any more questions I am here! Ash
