Some Catalans may consider Camp Nou Stadium as the biggest religious monument in Barcelona, though for my money it’s gotta be Sagrada Familia.
That said, you should see both on holiday so let me show you how to get to Sagrada Familia from Camp Nou (and vice versa) in a snap.
⚠️ 2023 Warning ⚠️: It’s now mandatory to book your Sagrada Familia tickets in advance.
The only way to guarantee your spot is by booking Sagrada Familia tickets online:
- 🎟️ Buy now: Sagrada Familia Fast Track Admission (skip the lines)
- 👨✈️ Buy now: Sagrada Familia Guided Tours in English (90 minute guided tour – double the length!)
- 🗼Buy now: Sagrada Familia Entrance + Towers (access all five floors)
For me, the 6.9 km trip is best done using the metro:
Though Camp Nou finds itself in a bit of a Barcelona metro dead spot, it’s simply a matter of walking five minutes to the Collblanc metro station.
From here, this guarantees us a straight shot (8 stops) to Sagrada Familia station using the blue line.
Make sure you’ve booked your Sagrada Familia tickets in advance (it’s mandatory) and take the Calle Marina exit of the metro for the main ticket holder entrance – and a dramatic escalator rise with Sagrada as a backdrop.
The entire trip should take about 25 minutes.
Prefer taking the bus to Sagrada Familia from Camp Nou?
From Camp Nou walk five minutes to the Travessera de les Corts – Comte de Güell bus stop, and here you can grab the H8 Bus (El Pastor).
Take it 19 stops until the Indústria – Lepant stop. From here, it is just a short three minute walk to Sagrada Familia – the whole trip takes about 45 minutes.
If you’re taking Barcelona public transport between these two amazing sights – and you’re doing a typical Barcelona sightseeing itinerary – I suggest arriving with the Hola Barcelona Travel Card already in your pocket.
With it you can get unlimited daily travel for around €7.00 a day.
At any rate, if you’re still stuck on getting to Sagrada Familia from Camp Nou or have any other Barcelona question on the tip of your tongue please write me in the comments below – I look forward to hearing from you! 😊
