I’ve already broken down the best vegetarian restaurants in Barcelona in another post, but here’s something a little more specific – the top vegetarian restaurants near Sagrada Familia.
Being super central, there’s a wide range of restaurants offering dishes for vegetarians and vegans, but we’re going for top quality to reward that superfine palate of yours 😉
Here’s the list:
Arc Iris: Historic Barcelona vegetarian restaurant with a of changing seasonal menu with both vegetarian and vegan options. Expect balanced dishes that emphasize the simplicity of the products they use. They are open only for lunch, every day (except Sundays), and offer four course set lunch menus for € 11.50 including dessert. Arc Iris is a 6-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia at Carrer Roger de Flor 216.
L’Encant Vegetarià: Vegetarian and vegan restaurant that offers ‘alternative’ dishes that combine rustic Spanish cooking with a touch of modern creativity. They do three course lunch menus for € 11.80. It is open every day for lunch and is located at Carrer de los Castillejo 210, a 10-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia.
⚠️ 2023 Warning ⚠️: It’s now mandatory to book your Sagrada Familia tickets in advance.
The only way to guarantee your spot is by booking Sagrada Familia tickets online:

Green & Burger By Biocenter: Call it street food if you want , but a vegan and vegetarian version. They have a varied menu but we recommend the veggie burgers, empanadas, and salads. They are open for lunch and dinner every day (from 1:00 pm to 10:30 pm). It’s located just 300 meters from the Sagrada Familia at Plaça de la Sagrada Familia 3.
Whichever restaurant you choose, I remind you that it is mandatory to book Sagrada Familia tickets in advance or else you’ll be on the outside looking in.
Post-COVID, their walk up tickets (and the hour-long lines) are a thing of the past.
