Visiting the legendary Sagrada Familia after Casa Batllo is one of those great one-two tourist punches.
It’s no wonder then that tons of you are asking the fastest way to get to Sagrada Familia from Casa Batllo (and vice versa).
The 4 km distance can be covered in a variety of ways but I recommend using the metro:
Take a right out of Casa Batllo and follow Passeig de Gracia down three blocks till you get to the Passeig de Gracia metro.
From here it’s just three stops on the metro on the purple line – it should take about 10 minutes maximum to Sagrada Familia Station.
The entrance for ticket holders is at the top of the Calle Marina exit – make sure you have bought your Sagrada Familia tickets in advance as this is mandatory.
Looking to take the bus to Sagrada Familia from Casa Batllo?
Take a left outside the door and follow Passeig de Gracia up to Carrer Valencia – take another left here without crossing the street and walk about 25 meters.
Here you’ll find the València – Pg de Gràcia bus stop.
Grab the H10 Bus (Olímpic de Badalona) and get off after four stops at València – Diagonal.

From here it’s just a three minute walk to Sagrada Familia.
In either case, if you’re taking public transport during your Barcelona holiday I strongly suggest getting an Hola Barcelona Travel Card to get unlimited daily travel for around €7.00 a day.
Especially in the summer heat, these transport cards can be a real life saver.
