Family Restaurants Near Sagrada Familia

I’ve received thousands of comments over the years, but one of the most common dilemmas for any visiting parent is to find the best family restaurants near the Sagrada Familia.

Here’s a few options to eat with your family in a spacious, affordable, family-friendly restaurants restaurant near the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia.

La Granota & Co: a simple, spacious family restaurant 5 minutes from the Sagrada Familia. They specialize in tortilla de patatas (aka Spanish omelettes) but there is also no shortage of Barcelona tapas including delicious croquetas. What I really like here though is the €11.90 set lunch menu which includes an appetizer, main, and a drink. The restaurant is located at Carrer de Padilla 250.

Meson Los Ancares: another restaurant that Catalans would call de toda la vida – in other words, a classic neighbourhood family restaurant. They offer homemade cuisine with simple dishes and a €12.00 lunch menu that includes appetizer, main, dessert, and drink. The Meson Los Ancares is located at Carrer de Sicilia 285, 6 minutes from the Sagrada.

Puertecillo Sagrada Familia: formerly called the “La Paradeta”, this epic Barcelona seafood chain stands out for a sort of fish self-service – where you can choose from fresh fish displayed on a market-style counter. They’ll weigh it and cook it and serve you some great local wine like Blanc Pescador. It’s 3 minutes from the Sagrada Familia at Passatge de Simò 18.
