El Trencadis: Named after the technique often used by Gaudì, this restaurant is one of the few locales that manage great price-quality ratio. They offer Mediterranean cuisine with some local Catalan dishes, a vegetarian option, and a good choice of sandwiches. At lunch, they have a Catalan-style set menu for 13 euros which includes an appetizer, entrée and drink. Ideal for people visiting Barcelona with kids.
El Trencadis is located 400 meters from Casa Batlló at Carrer de Pau Claris 143.
Real Hamburgeseria: The passion for quality hamburgers has recently arrived in Barcelona. And without a doubt, the “Real” one is one of the best examples of this trend – making it ideal for a quick and consistent lunch. 😉
To reach it you have to walk about 10 minutes to Carrer Valencia 285.
